This is the first blog of the new year and I'm excited to be able to bring you my point of view on "Connecting the Dots". First up, is the review of the last class. Thank you Cathy for this little glimpse, this dot to dot Revelation. I got goose bumps as Cathy talked about Jesus and how His comings, His goings and His doings connected to Jewish history and the Old Testament. Jesus rose from the dead as the first fruit and we will eventually rise to join Him.
Jesus was crucified on Passover, connecting the dots, He is our passover. God's wrath will pass over us at judgement, just as the angel of death passed over those who had the blood on their door posts in the Old Testament. Our inheritance is so rich in history and connections.
I don't think we will fully understand it all until we kneel before the throne of our Lord and Savior. But for now, we don't want to miss the glory. Here is the Link to Gordon Mote's video:
DON'T LET ME MISS THE GLORY!
Thank you ladies for all the kudos you have given to me for my hard work. I want you to know that every one of you were prayed for as I made your name tag, table tag and your notebook. It was a labor of love and God richly blessed me as I served you. An opportunity is coming up in a few weeks for a few of you to help me finish up the magnet dots. After class on March 8th I will have the supplies to make the rest of the magnets for the season. No talent required, if you can follow instructions you can help. More info to come next week in class.
Some of you have asked me questions about our teacher, Cathy. Who is she? What is her history? How did she come to be so knowledgeable? I coaxed her into giving me a little birds eye synopsis of her testimony.
It all started in a sewer!!
IT ALL STARTED IN A SEWER?? Oy Vay!

The focus through Chosen People is to share Jesus with Jewish people and to equip believers to do the same. We also educate believers – from the Scripture – as to why this is God’s plan. In the coming weeks , the Blog will feature PETS ON PARADE! If you want your pet featured send your pictures and bio to connectingdots@ymail.com. We can learn a lot about each through our pets.
Our first pet bio is from Karen Campbell:
On December 26th, 2009 I found my kitty as a rescue at the Humane Society. I was looking at the dark colored cats because I didn't want to deal with the hair of a light colored cat. I looked at a few different cats, then the lady brought Tippy into the room, I patted my lap, he jumped right up on me and seemed quite friendly. He is a "polydactyly" or "Hemingway cat" and has 6 toes on both front paws. He has a white spot on the tip of his nose and the name "Tippy" came immediately to me. From that first day he has always responded to his name like it was made for him.
When we arrived home I let him out of the carrier he tore through the house, under the furniture, over the furniture several times like a madman. "WHAT did I do? I thought. This cat is a maniac!! I must have been out of my mind!
Over the next few weeks Tippy slowly calmed down and became the sweetest, smartest cat I've ever known. He understands almost everything I say. When I take out the trash on the 2nd trip he'll charge out of the bushes at me because he wants to play and we will chase each other. If he wants Cool Whip (he loves it) he will cry by the refrigerator. If he wants to eat and I'm in the middle of something, I will say "just a minute and I'll feed you" he will go and lay by his bowl until I feed him.
He is so adorable and such a
blessing in my life.
